As an organization that recognizes how businesses shape and inform the culture of our state, Equality NC is dedicated to deepening its community engagement through our Equality Works program. Equality Works is a statewide resource for businesses ranging from Fortune 500 companies to smaller, local enterprises who understand the economic and social benefits of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, particularly as they relate to the LGBTQ community.

By working collaboratively, we believe that business can help build a better North Carolina for all while creating professional development opportunities for our partners. We understand that business and corporate partnerships are not a one-size-fits-all model, and are pleased to offer a diverse slate of options and opportunities for these entities to more deeply engage with the work of ENC. Our Equality Works program contains four objectives:

• Discuss the broader issues impacting diversity and inclusion in the workplace
• Share ideas on community programs, issues, and resources
• Collaborate on sponsorship of programs and projects
• Network and share best practices, including model policy implementation
