2014 Equality Gala
Equality NC Foundation's eighth annual Equality Gala returned Saturday, November 22, 2014, in beautiful downtown Greensboro (The Empire Room, 203 S. Elm St Greensboro, NC 27401). This premier statewide Equality event - themed "Get Engaged, North Carolina" - brought record numbers of LGBT North Carolinians and allies together for an all-new, home grown evening celebration of our recent victories around marriage equality and more that set the stage for another unprecedented year of quality Equality engagement.
This 2014 event kicked-off at 5 p.m. with a VIP reception preceding the 6:30 p.m. 2014 Equality Gala from the Empire Room in beautiful downtown Greensboro (203 S Elm St.), followed by an another amazing after-party at Print Works Bistro.
The Equality NC Gala is well-known for snagging the movement's biggest stars, including non-discrimination hero and Houston Mayor Annise Parker, Moral Monday leader Rev. Dr. William Barber, and marriage equality champion Attorney General Roy Cooper. Read all about the 2014 keynote, Wade Davis.
